The Founder
Mrs. Ruth Vanessia Stokes is the founder and CEO of WIN4Life, Inc. She is a 29 year veteran, who has a passion for giving back to the local communities. Her goal is to inspire people to reach their full potential as they strive to make a difference in the lives of their family and their community. She is passionate about educating and empowering people to pursue their dreams with “purpose and zeal." Vanessia admits, “What began as a dream in 2006 evolved into a reality in 2010 when WIN For Life, Inc., was launched.” Her dream continued to manifest into a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 2014. She diligently supports various social and community service programs in the church and other non-profit organizations as a mentor, consultant, and professional counselor. She enjoys music, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Vanessia is a Professional Counselor, motivational speaker, teacher, event planner, and a certified nonprofit consultant. She has earned two (2) Master Degrees in Professional Counseling and Information Technology.
The Co-Founder
Mrs. Cynthia Miller is known as a “philanthropist entrepreneur,” who has dedicated her life toincreasing the well-being of human kind in the world of business and on a personal level. She is business owner, motivational speaker and life coach, who approaches every business adventure with relentless enthusiasm and tenacity. Cynthia earned her Bachelor’s degree inWorkforce, Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and anAssociate Degree in Business Administrative from Ashworth College. She is currently working as a Program Manager.
Cynthia is also a certified nonprofit consultant.
She shares the founder's dream of impacting people's lives in the community in positive ways. Cynthia shared, “what started as a casual conversation, ended up as an ALL time joint venture of making a difference in the lives of others through WIN 4Life." She is a mentor for at risk children, who are struggling in education, welfare recipients, prisoners, and teenagers, who are surrounded by peer pressure. She has a deep-seated hunger to bring about positive changes within the lives of people and communities at the local, state and national levels.

The organization was established in 2010 as WIN For Life, Inc. In 2014, WIN For Life, was renamed to WIN 4Life, Inc., and became a 501 (c) 3 non-profit community resource and support services organization.
Our mission is dedicated to educating, empowering, equipping, while elevating the lives of women, children and teens with life’s tools required to improve personal and professional growth. Our vision is to promote literacy, financial stability, and to help end homelessness in the community.
It is our goal to effectively integrate resources and support services in the lives of people to impact positive change in the community.
